What differentiates XE from other similar products?

Exchange rates are very competitive and the set-up process is very secure. Customer service is very attentive.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Currency exchange rates are competitive, and better than we were getting with our bank. We had been using American Express FXIP but Amex discontinued this service. I'm happy to find a secure and reliable alternative, although Amex rates were better and we received membership points for foreign transfers. I feel very confident that these transactions are secure.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's impossible to send a set amount in a foreign currency, so if you're looking to send a foreign currency amount, you have to calculate the amount in local currency first with the quoted exchange rate. It still works, but requires more effort and a bit of math.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a very reliable service with good exchange rates, although settlement times seem a bit slower than they were using AMEX FXIP (discontinued). I've made quite a few transactions in the past couple of months since we started using Xe.com, and I feel confident that it's a secure and reliable service.
