A Marketer's Must-Have!

What differentiates Wrike from other similar products?

- Wrike is more visual than most project management tools that I've used; the UI is far more user-friendly. - The collaborative working allows for simultaneous work to happen - this was often an issue with other tools I used where sometimes work would be overridden

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the new dashboards - they really help us visualize data in a way that isn't overwhelming and terrifying. The fact that they constantly put out updates is nice - they really prioritize improvement. The community built around Wrike is probably my favorite aspect of all; they have created a space for individuals from all industries and locations to connect, learn, and develop ideas with each other.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some product feedback that has many users backing it up don't end up seeing the light of day - sometimes, the updates they prioritize are questionable.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Meet with someone from Wrike to get a demo and ask to connect with existing users from similar industries/departments! They often reach out asking if anyone is willing to connect with a potential client.

Intuitive Project Management with Advanced Feature

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Wrike from other similar products?

What also sets Wrike apart is their comprehensive Power-Ups and integrations. These plugins are a way to add features to your boards like calendar, timer, or integrations with other popular applications. That portability allows Wrike to scale to any workflow or industry from software development to advertising campaigns. Its freedom to build on top of what Wrike already offers without imposing new complexity on users sets it apart from stricter project management tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love that Wrike has a mobile version too, so you can easily manage your projects from anywhere. The app retains the easy drag-and-drop functionality of the desktop counterpart so that task statuses, comments or due dates can be added or removed anywhere. The ability to insert photos directly from your phone into cards is especially useful for teams that want to keep track of work or need to get a visual message across quickly. This mobility means that everyone in the team can stay in touch and on track when they’re not sitting at a desk.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There’s no built-in Gantt chart functionality, which is a real pain for teams that need to visualize project times, dependencies, and critical paths. Power-Ups do exist that might be able to do this, but they tend to be expensive and may not flow as well as a native feature. This functionality disconnect can be a fatal weakness for organizations that are heavily time-driven in their project planning and tracking.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be sure to review your long-term project management needs. Wrike is perfect for easy visual task management, but if you're planning to use more advanced functionality such as resource management, time tracking or report generation later, keep this in mind. If you find these are important for your workflow, you can check out Wrike’s Power-Ups or other alternatives that support them built in. Just keep in mind that the appeal of Wrike is the flexibility and simplicity, so it’s great for teams that prefer those over fancy project management tools.
