Workplace by Facebook is a free on-the-cloud system. At Agoda, we use workplace to attach to different non-work-related stuff. Since Workplace is formed by Facebook, every function and UX style for the system is the same thing as Facebook. Since everybody is aware of the way to use Facebook, new joiners simply best-known how to use it while not questioning it. What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Newsfeed of the workplace from FB is extremely sensible we are able to track all news of our company in this place. All company employe work beside all of the worker's members in a single place and share their doubts and the other factor concerning the company. User reasoning is comparable to FB thus not tough to use it due to all of the ability to use FB.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I really cannot complain concerning Workplace because it may be a free on-the-cloud system. However, recently, Workplace doesn’t enable the corporate Alumni to use the company workplace anymore. This is smart however it causes us to migrate from our Alumni group to a different platform. Nevertheless, we’ll still use workplace as our non-work-related channel. One other essential factor that I dislike about workplace is the admin platform. The video conferencing feature isn’t accessible within the workplace from FB. No video conference feature introduced yet. Privacy issues are clearly a problem with something that Facebook owns.

I surely recommend it because it is free of cost, easy to use and is very helpful for the user.

Workplace is good for connecting with your coworkers. You can easily make a group in which you can add a new post, image or videos to kick start the discussion.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Workplace by Meta is available for both desktop and mobile phone users. It has search abilities to find your old information. You can paste images on your posts and comments without saving them as a file. It allows you to have three levels of groups for your security which are ‘open’, ‘closed’ and ‘secret group’. Workplace chat can be set as do not disturb. You can easily share whatever you want.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometime notifications do not work or delayed. Workplace chat is not suitable for deleting the comments, sometimes the comment that you delete are not deleted. Watching videos took too much time. Video calling is not available. It wastes time by generating spam content.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is recommended if you want to stay connected to your coworkers remotely through a group. Also if you are using workplace you have no security concern as it is totally separate from Facebook and no one from workplace can see your Facebook profile. In spite of that, Meta doesn’t allow video calling so if you want video calling switch to another platform.
