The intuitive interface, effective functions and friendliness of the workiva team
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The software is somewhat self-explanatory and user-friendly, so it saves a lot of time in initial trainings. Also the support team or the live chat function are easy to access to and the support engineers are very knowledgeable in solving problems.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We use Wdesk to file quarterly 10-Q for a client, and occasionally an imported word or excel document may experience formatting issues within Wdesk.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Utilize the sales and support team to demonstrate the functionality of Workiva, so you can have a better idea how it may help with your daily work or do customizations as needed.

What differentiates Workiva ESG from other similar products?
Workiva is one of the best applications you can have for your day to day data management. Some of the features which makes Workiva standout from it's competitors is it's ability to issue customised certifications and it's real time save. One of the best features of Workiva is its 'Link' functionality which makes it very easy for KPI and MI reporting purposes as you can easily update on a given spreadsheet and it will automatically update a presentation template with the updated data and update the charts too. Workiva has the capability of sending certification and one can schedule the automated reminders too.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
When I first started using Workiva, I was of the opinion that I will have to learn a new system altogether and to my surprise, it was totally opposite to my expectations. The favorite bit of Workiva is it's ease of use. With almost no or little training, a user can start using the basic features of the tool. There are a lot of features which are replica of Microsoft and since we all are almost aware of the features of word, excel and power point, no user will struggle with the document, spreadsheet and presentation of Workiva.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Amongst all the great features of Workiva, there is one particular feature where I struggle a bit and with a little house keeping in mind, one can easily avoid being in that situation and hence I will not call it a dislike but an area for improvement. When a user filters a spreadsheet and saves it, Workiva automatically creates a version of that file for an audit trail. If you ever want to go back and check that file then it will only show the filtered out data and as a user you will not be able to unfilter the spreadsheet to see the hidden data. But like I mentioned earlier, if a user keeps the file unfiltered then there wont be any problem
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Workiva is a great tool to manage your files and folders which can be accessed easily. Some of the features are really great which will help you in a lot of automation of your manual work. It doesn't require a great deal of training cost so an organisation will save a lot of implementation cost too. Roles can be defined easily and you can restrict the access to file and folders very easily.
