What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?

Using Workday candidates can apply internal jobs in the organisation as well as its very easy to refer candidates using workday, I like the filters feature of the workday very much, we can filter job region wise, technology wise and Manager wise. For recruiters it's easy to post job updates using workday.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Candidates compensation information as well as personal details can be store in workday, there are unique workday id for each employee, for managers it's very easy to manage team. We can apply, view global jobs in MNC organisations using workday.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't see any dislike, it's great application.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Workday HCM is robust and easy to use application, I will recommend it to manage recruitment processes and procedures for your organization.

Great UI, but a little Me-Too

What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?

The UI is intuitive when compared to similar solutions. Workday's user interface appears to be designed with non-HR people in mind, and this is a good thing. Regular users can easily navigate through the tool and find the things they need without much training. The language used is also easy to understand.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The UT experience as explained above is my favorite aspect of this product. Their understanding of the regular employee needs beyond HR language is a huge plus for users to just go in and find the stuff they need, without much training and handholding as required by other tools. This greatly reduces the need for training and allows HR to focus on other more important tasks at hand.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The tool is not much different in terms of capabilities when compared to other solutions. Not sure what breakthrough technology is needed, but all people-management solutions appear to be cut from the same cloths, just packaged up differently.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ask internal teammates whether they have used Workday platform before or other people-management solutions. Give it a test drive and see how internal teammates prefer it over the current solution (or not). Ultimately, everyone in the organization will need to interface with Workday, so it is best to get their buy-in early and adapt to the tool, as opposed to issues arising later on during implementation, that would be too late to fix.
