Decide how much data you're needing to transition and how often and if the answers aren't "A lot" and "Daily" then this might now be the perfect fit for your needs. This is a robust, professional product that is virtually limitless in connectivity, so choose wisely based on your current and projected needs.

What differentiates Workato from other similar products?
workato citizen integration classAct , its execution of the citizen integration promise is a breath taking , you have to try it to believe it . Its server-less nature is spectacular. It completely stands out in the citizen integration category. other iPaaS vendors - boomi , workato , jitterbit ...etc also market their products as supportive of citizen integration which is a shame when compared to workato. workato with its server-less nature does impose some SLA restrictions - like polling period cannot be less than 5mins . and its integration capabilities is near real-time however workato is improving with every monthly release.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
a) rapid quick starter - its serverless - infra setup not needed , tons of easy to plug-an play connectors for most SaaS applications. b)ease of use , no integration technical knowledge needed , just start with basic integrations , most features are hyper intuitive. c)quick to deploy and run - works like a charm. d) very reliable - never experienced any issues with most features , though some of my recipes are quick complex . e)improved by every monthly release , which is fantastic. f) great for batch data integration. g) simplicity yet great mightily powerful
What do you dislike most about this product?
a) hated the lack of visibility of trigger time indicator and ability to manage it for all polling connectors. b)very limited API Mgnt features c) limited pub-sub features d)not real-time , api invocation and webhooks took time to be visible in platform e)workato can also have professional developer features and professional developer persona along side citizen integration persona . both can coexists . which will help this product compete better with other ipass products. f)onprem agent setup and config is a nighmare g) integration with external devops tooling and visibility platform with professional dev persona

if you are in lookout for best citizen integration product ! this is a absolute yes

Easy to learn and use with excellent features

What differentiates Workato from other similar products?
Ease of use, specifically the ability to set up connectors and move data without any programming or servers.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Web interface and simple triggers and actions. For example, my first project with this product was to query data from Snowflake (data warehouse), convert it to CSV, and send it out to a vendor's SFTP site. I had the integration built and running in under an hour.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Error handling and messages are vague. Training is handled more through running into problems and contacting support, as there is not really any up-front training.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is an outstanding product and works extremely well. However, despite the marketing for the product it really does require someone with an IT background (programming) to effectively use it. People assembling recipes/integrations don't have to do actual programing, but they need to be comfortable with the concepts of arrays, objects, JSON data, looping, variables and related programming concepts. If you have people with those skills, you absolutely will not be disappointed with Workato as an integration solution that allows you to easily move and transform data between systems, databases and APIs.
