How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

Most of what small businesses need with no cost

What differentiates Wave from other similar products?
Wave is cloud-based accounting with no cost. There are adjacent services like invoicing/processing, payroll, and expert assistance for purchase- but not required and not obtrusive. It has a more intuitive interface than other accounting software with the same basic features.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of this product is the automated bank connection- it syncs transactions daily so keeping track of entries is simple. The AI auto-suggests accounts for categorizing new bank transactions. Most major accounting programs have this, so my second favorite feature is the price. There is so much of the same functionality as big-name software without the absurd price tag. The search and filter function for transactions is also very comprehensive. Our tax prep service was even impressed with the reports.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are still a few features Wave could improve on, like receipt uploading. It has a convenient app for scanning receipts, but scans don't auto-match to your corresponding bank transaction and merging them is a clunky, tedious process. The "scans" are also just pictures and don't detect data from lines on the receipt.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For a small business, startup, or business owner handling the accounting, Wave is absolutely the way to go. I think it's an overall better product than big-name competitors and savings are huge. In the beginning I started with Wave, but a colleague insisted our business should just pay for Quickbooks. I tried that for two months expecting something amazing, but it had the same features and functionality as Wave with a huge price tag and no customer support. So I switched back to Wave and couldn't be happier. I absolutely recommend using Wave and can't wait to see what new features they develop.
Pros
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
- Inspires Innovation
- Client Friendly Policies
