What differentiates Vena Complete Planning from other similar products?
Vena differentiates itself from other FP&A tools by being the only native Excel Complete Planning platform. Being from the Product team at ZS, our team had already specialized in Excel to develop quarter budgets, revenue estimates, product plans, and marketing tactics, and analyze future forecasts to determine the breakeven point for our product portfolio. To do this seamlessly, we needed a powerful tool specialized for planning these, and Vena satisfied our demands perfectly. Since the team was already Excel-savvy, there were no hassles in onboarding the team to Vena which offered almost the same interface as Excel but with more functions.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect about Vena is the fact that its front-end interface is Microsoft Excel. Since I am very Excel-focused and Excel-savvy, learning Vena was a breeze. Having the Vena toolbr helps implement all the required functionalities in a few clicks, and the power of SQL is provided by Vena without the requirement of any coding. Vena also has provided a lot of additional and useful capabilities apart from those available in traditional Excel. There is this drill-down functionality that helps our team look at the revenue estimates of our products are different levels, i.e. physician, provider, and patient levels.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is difficult to onboard new team members, who are weak in Excel, to Vena. Since the basic interface and working is similar to Excel, the learning curve for Vena becomes really steep and daunting for new members who are not much familiar with Excel. We provide the new joiners in the team with the free training provided by Vena on their platform, but it does not suffice. An extensive in-detail help guide and course for free would be really appreciated.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would definitely recommend all the teams who are currently using Excel for their financial and operational planning to consider using Vena, as it provides a whole host of additional and useful functionalities along with ready-made templates for capital expense planning, detailed revenue planning, and operational planning, among others. This tool also has a very supportive query resolution team who are ready to help with all the technical and functional roadblocks 24x7. Vena will not disappoint you!

What differentiates Vena Complete Planning from other similar products?
Vena Complete Planning is a way better tool at work. This is very user-friendly and very good for newbies. This imports and exports data quicker than other products. This is very helpful, especially for those works are more into spreadsheet works like me. Didn't expect to make plans this easy and quick. No more hesitations if my work isn't that good. I am very confident since I a used this software. This is stress-free tool. The best!
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of this product is the efficiency. Vena allowed me to rolled-up my work, with very detailed planning, and efficiency satisfactory. Also, it is a very timely manner for doing spreadsheet work. This is very well designed for everyone.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes the reports made crash and looses the connection. When you're working and when it loads, you cannot make another sheet.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is highly recommended. Better to have this for everyday work. A little bit pricey, but it is worth it. I could recommend this to others whose work is like mine. With Vena, I can make plans for the long run confidently.

Provides a collaborative platform where one can do several things and especially the product is too good for analytics and reporting
