Automation of Test Case with 0 Scripting Knowledge

What differentiates Tricentis Tosca from other similar products?

The most important differentiating factor is that Tosca does not need any prior knowledge of a scripting language. This way the tool is accepted by more and more people will to undertake automation for their test cases. While the tool is not a freeware, it provides a good support which can be required for crucial operations and blockers as not all testers work in similar fashion and understand every feature provided by the application.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As the technology upgradations keep happening, it is crucial to have time updates done to TOSCA to address growing demands from the market. TOSCA provides frequent updates which let's testers strike off the limitations and enhance the automation achieved by then.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While the tool has compatibility issues from MAC and LINUX standpoint, given the tool is paid, not all organizations prefer to adapt it as there are many other options in the market which are either open source freeware or charge relatively lesser priced service.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Overall, the tool is attracting a lot of popularity due to multi platform support, no pre-requisite of having scripting knowledge, own framework, extensive inbuilt matrices and good vendor support. Should you be willing to spend some budget on having the test cases automated effectively, with no cost of training, this is the tool that you should opt for.

What differentiates Tricentis Tosca from other similar products?

- User Friendly and good Customer support - Support guys goes extra mile to solve your problem even if you are very new to the tools they help you in every aspect. - Provide end to end testing i.e. UI Automation, API Automation, Mobile automation, Desktop Application Automation and RPA. - We can have solution of our business requirements at one place. - Very Effective and need to spend very less time for Automate Engineer to complete the test compare to different tools. - Does not require any coding knowledge or any programing skills. - It is good for Functional tester to involve in the automation activity without having coding skills.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Desktop Automation is my favorite, we can automate outlook and other windows application as we have such business requirements. - Provide end to end testing i.e. UI Automation, API Automation, Mobile automation, Desktop Application Automation and RPA. - It is good for Functional tester to involve in the automation activity without having coding skills. - Does not require any coding knowledge or any programing skills, anyone from team can contribute in automation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

- Coding is not available directly to end user. - We can do coding only if we require customization. - If Automation Engineer is interested more on coding stuff than Tosca will not be a good choice.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

- Tricentis Tosca is very effective tools for all Business need. - It provides end to end solution for the business requirements. - It is very user friendly. - Customer support is excellent. - We can cover end to end testing i.e. UI Automation, API Automation, Mobile automation, Desktop Application Automation and RPA. - Highly Capable tool with very less efforts from the Automation Engineer.
