What differentiates Tricentis Tosca from other similar products?

TOSCA is a model based solution where one does not need coding skills to automate test cases. One need to use language like Gherkin which is user understandable and requires some basic level of training to get started with. Furthermore, TOSCA provides built in reporting and one can view a dashboard to understand pie chart, timing etc. Although the license is paid, the one gets a dedicated support from TOSCA which can drastically help teams to get through the blockers and challenges.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Users are able to automate the test cases without doing actual coding is the best past of TOSCA. Due to this, organization do not have to invest hefty amount of money in training the staff members to automate the test cases. Also given there is a dedicated support provided by TOSCA, one can rely on them for any problematic situation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

API testing, database services aren't supported by TOSCA owing to which it becomes essential for testers to switch to other tools in the market to automate the test cases.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Overall, TOSCA is a fantastic tool in the market for organization undertaking DevOps and Agile transformation journey where the press is on delivering continuous value to the business. It is not free, but leveraging this tool can help reduce the cost of re-execution of test cases manually.
