What differentiates Trellix Endpoint Security from other similar products?

Endpoint Security platforms are similar nowadays, except for a few solutions. However, Trellix takes advantage of the well-known ePO platform and is an agent that deploys many functionalities with reduced CPU consumption.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Definitely, the ePO management platform.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Pentesters are pointing out that Trellix EPP cannot handle more advanced AV bypass techniques.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You take advantage of the Trellix platform when using multiple solutions. The ease of management is a plus that you need to consider. Trellix, in my opinion, is better when you acquire the complete package of solutions instead of a best-of-breed approach.

f I had to pick, my favorite aspect of Trellix Endpoint Security would be its integration of AI and machine learning for real-time threat detection. The use of advanced AI allows it to detect emerging threats, even those that haven't been seen before or lack known signatures. This dynamic, adaptive approach is powerful because it goes beyond relying on traditional methods like signatures or known threat databases, offering a more proactive and future-proof defense.
