What differentiates ThreatLocker from other similar products?
Their approach to "whitelisting" is very effective, if a little difficult to initially setup and configure. The solutions engineers and support staff are fantastic and always willing to help and train. They are always willing to retrain when we have new techs come onboard, or if there is something to is confusing. Tech support has always been available within a few minutes and are very willing to take the time and effort needed to answer questions and resolve issues.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The visibility we achieve in the use of the servers and workstations, as well as the ability to lock down the software to only approved applications. This gives us security and peace of mind in a diverse environment.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be difficult to initially set up and administer.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure you are ready to commit to a full evaluation. It can take several weeks for the initial discovery and configuration. If you rush this part, the product will not perform at its full potential.
