Advanced SQL Engine leverages industry-leading Teradata Database which was designed with a patented massively parallel processing (MPP) architecture from ground-up. This allows complex analytics workloads to be broken down and distributed in order to perform as efficiently as possible. Advanced SQL is the foundation that provides the scalability to start small and then expand into an enterprise-wide, mission-critical analytics system.

What differentiates Teradata Advanced SQL Engine from other similar products?

I would say that its main difference with other database engines is its parallel processing which makes it a fast and efficient database and very useful for data analysis.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I like the most is that it is a multi-node data stage that can work very fast in simultaneous processes. Also, it can be easily integrated with data analysis and business intelligence tools, which makes it a unique database engine.

What do you dislike most about this product?

At the moment I have nothing negative to add about this product

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would tell them that if they want a fast database engine that processes large amounts of data simultaneously, this is the most feasible option, since it is a very powerful and unique database.

high performance with great features. support from the teradata is great. they give us complete solution to my client when comes about data reporting. this is the great platform for security and data protection.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the best part of this product is share nothing architecture. this is very scalable product. its AMPs and the disks associated with AMPs work independent ly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

lack in understanding of requirements. improvement required.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

it's a multi cloud platform and helps us in taking backup of various EC 2.
