We use Telnyx to send SMS through 3CX. It's good.

What differentiates Telnyx from other similar products?

We chose Telnyx as per the recommendation of our 3CX vendor. But it's not fully integrated with our Hubspot CRM.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Able to send SMS via 3CX and can receive replies as well. Quite reasonable price.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No SMS ID feature.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you'll use Telnyx as it is go ahead, it's a perfect solution. Just confirm app integrations with them before subscribing to a plan.

What differentiates Telnyx from other similar products?

After the most obvious, pricing and product features are set aside, Support, Support, and Support! Along with transparency and strong historical reporting, this makes Telnyx an easy choice in the telecom industry.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to have SIP trunking created via 3 different way (Credentials, IP address, and via FQDN). With full flexibility in which International countries will be "Allowed" and with Fraud limits for that specific SIP Trunk. Limitation also can be assigned to the number of channels to the Trunk.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's 7 years that we have been utilizing Telnyx which that is considered a long period of time in the telecom industry. This is due to the fact they are Transparent with their partners. When there is an issue ...they will tell you there is an issue. For us, it's one of the core values, Trust.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Open a test account and test with your PBX/UCaas. Count the time it takes to set up a trunk and get it operational. You will see how fast easy and well-documented the process really is.

What differentiates Telnyx from other similar products?

Highly integrated portal - maybe a bit too much for its own good, not a lot of support for what we had been doing, just left to our own devices, so that was a bit unsettling and eventually lead to a decline in use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The idea of self-managed, portal driven - its all there - it looks good on paper, but not a lot of support and at the end of the day, that matters a lot.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Support was found to be somewhat lacking, days on end, no emails or calls being answered and being left to "figure it out" and also some audio quality problems and billing issues.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

just pay attention to whats going on, not just in setting up but at all times, dont take anything for granted that its just working as it should be. Maybe we had a rough go of things, and hope to continue going forward after a few issues are resolved, its certainly possible because the feel of their portal and site is really good and overall positive. So I hope I dont judge them too harshly. It certainly could have gone much, much better and also could have been far, far worse, its about as honest as I can say it.
