What differentiates Tacton CPQ from other similar products?

The visual product configuration capabilities were also a big win for self-service buying journeys, even for our custom products. With Tacton, prospects can choose options and add services themselves. This made it easier for large companies to buy. Tacton CPQ's advanced configurator engine can handle complex product models with millions of rules and constraints. Its modern user interface makes it easy to configure products for B2B purchases.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Tacton CPQ has helped us scale global marketing campaigns across regions while ensuring accurate, localized product configuration and pricing. Previously, we had disconnected systems and processes, which caused inconsistent quotes. It's valuable to be able to quickly create and price complete product bundles with global pricing rules. Tacton lets you sell across different channels with real-time pricing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Tacton is an installed application, so it needs more technical resources than cloud-native CPQ tools. You may also need to connect to external systems like ERP, CRM, and catalogs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When launching a new campaign for our industrial automation line in APAC markets, we could quickly change our product catalogs, options, rules, and pricing within the Tacton platform based on the market. Campaign landing pages and dealer portals could then show the local, changed product models and pricing information for that market.
