What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Tableau has great insights. I keep reading their newsletters and they're mostly focussed on new features (who isnt) along with keeping an eye on how pleasing their data can be while presenting. That stands out.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Best part is the new color pallette selection. The new brown with cyan is extremely pleasing to the eye and I have been given an excellent feedback on them.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing much that I dislike. It hangs a little while handling huge data.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want great business insights from continuous flowing data, you must consider purchasing this product.

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

It dominates the space that it is a couple steps ahead of it's competitors It releases whitepapers often that align to it's products It always try to create unique user interfaces to give graphs a fun visualisation for example

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- User interface - Collaboration functionality - Easy to upgrade - Very resourceful

What do you dislike most about this product?

- Reports don't auto refresh - No version control - Some workflows are manual

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Tableau provides you with enterprise-grade security and governance models to keep data in the right hands and places at all times, even when scaling analytics across your organization. Plus, admin is simple and powerful, helping IT focus on what matters most.
