What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
This platform seemed to be a leader in the space. It's fast and powerful functionality, along with its inherent ability to bring out data and make it visible to the users, is excellent.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Functionality. Slick and powerful. Great dashboards!
What do you dislike most about this product?
Customer support is few and far between. After a purchase; you are own your own. I only ever heard from someone at Tableau when renewal time neared. There were no client outreach efforts at all. Once you buy; you're on your own.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Excellent platform, but I did not think it was at all easy or simple to deploy. The quality of work this platform provides is wholly dependent on the experience and savvy-ness of the programming team that will deploy and program the data. Get excellent programmers, you will have an excellent Tableau experience.
