What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

The number of BI features in Tableau lands it in the premier league in its class. It's probably one of the best premium data science and business intelligence solutions in the market. Mobile optimization is top-notch, well-thought-out, and makes sense out of analytics. It's very easy to use once you get the hang of it. Another unique feature making Tableau the best option for us is its support of a number of data sources and integrators.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I am mostly on the go, that said, I value mobile optimization. Tableau gives me this freedom on a platter. I like that I can dig deeper into my data which makes my narratives easier to share

What do you dislike most about this product?

The cost can be a deterrent at a larger scale so we keep our licensing within small units for best use cases. Tableau can do better in this regard and make its product favorable to large corporates. For example, a company with 5000 employees will rather limit users to 1000 at a time and avoid paying almost a million dollars.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Depending on use cases, I would suggest rolling out Tableau per specialization to contain cost and maximize returns at the same time

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

What I like about Tableau Desktop is that it offers a wide range of functions that are especially useful for organizations with a large number of employees. The straightforward implementation of Row Level Security, for example, should be highlighted here, as should the considerable flexibility and programmability of various software components. This is especially noteworthy when compared to other alternatives such as Google Data Studio, which offers extremely limited customisation options. the data should be cleaned before being delivered to Tableau in a "presentable" form, so that only visualization takes place there.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Data sets may be easily shown in dashboards using Tableau, providing stakeholders with a better perspective and knowledge of KPIs and indicators. Furthermore, dashboards help to prevent missing any critical changes that would otherwise go unnoticed and hurt the company. Because I completely support Tableau, expressing its flaws is difficult. You should be aware, however, that Tableau contains a visualization tool.Tableau provides several tools for visually arranging data and making it easier to comprehend. There are several opportunities, and the company offers continuing training. You should take advantage of this offer to make life.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the most significant disadvantages of Tableau Desktop, in my opinion, is the time required to understand and use the program in order to work well with it on a regular basis. Many functions appear to be somewhat unintuitive at first sight, however this improves as one gains a greater grasp of Tableau. The comparison with Google Data Studio should be repeated, as it is much better suited for smaller companies and startups in my opinion because it is much more intuitive to use and also offers deep integration with other Google products, whereas Tableau is ideal for the traditional business world is working. especially in the beginning.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Tableau has a plethora of connectors to other data sources. Aside from the conventional ones, such as timed *.csv imports, live visualizations based on SQL databases are also available. Visualizations may be built using drag and drop without requiring extensive expertise, allowing you to quickly put them together yourself. Even if more sophisticated visualizations are necessary, Tableau and support should be able to handle them. Tableau is an excellent visualization tool. However, visualization is still required. Our Tableau difficulties are usually connected to data availability and calculation. Ideally, the data should be cleaned before.
