What differentiates Strategy from other similar products?

It is available on web and mobile and easily accessible.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's pretty easy to learn if you have already used some other reporting tool in the past.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As I have been working as a Data Engineer and most of the times, I need to create Attributes and Metrics in MSTR developer tool for business reporting. I find it annoying that the Default table join condition is INNER JOIN and sometimes restricts data visibility and we need to take another route to make it work for special cases where LEFT or RIGHT join is required.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

MSTR is for big enterprise level reporting, where you have multiple schemas and complex architecture. If you have one database and few tables and less complex joins and conditions, you may choose other less costly tools.

What differentiates Strategy from other similar products?

MicroStrategy is a very powerful producer at a semantic level, unlike alternatives such as PowerBI. Its desktop version is very robust, although it also has a cloud version. It has many data integration tools added.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to provide a semantic layer on top of other Business Intelligence tools

What do you dislike most about this product?

As we have mentioned previously, there is a lack of documentation in Spanish, as well as training. The Demo should be more accessible.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We recommend testing its use first to check its features. If you are satisfied with this producer, you can go ahead and buy it, since their support is great.

What differentiates Strategy from other similar products?

This tool is a fast one that is easy for deployment and learning and it empowers us for free data exploration on any device through robust searches and visualizations.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It facilitates us for visualization of data relationships through related colors and automatic data association and it does not need any development of coding expertise.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While the dashboards look beautiful when they are done, it can take some time to get them done if you have set up many attributes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

MicroStrategy is a comprehensive data analytics tool that offers data discovery and analytics to all involved teams and stakeholders through a scalable infrastructure.
