What differentiates Spring Boot from other similar products?

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Broad aspects of features it provides, autoconfiguration makes it easy to develop production-ready apps with minimal config, embedded servers like tomcat, actuator, devtools, most importantly the starter bundles that contains all of the dependencies that you need to develop a specific type of application. For example, there are starters for web applications, RESTful APIs, and data access.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not quite that I can think of for now.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start with simple project by following Spring boot documentation.

What differentiates Spring Boot from other similar products?

1) Spring Boot is more easy, efficient and user friendly as compared to other frameworks. 2) Spring Boot helps in creating applications that can be easily deployed into production. 3) It can be easily integrated with almost all other tools and technologies like databases, messaging queues etc

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

1) It reduces lot of boiler plate coding and provides lot of features out of the box. 2) Requires very less turn around time for setup, installation and configuration

What do you dislike most about this product?

1) Converting a legacy project to Spring Boot project is quite troublesome. 2) Sometimes, lot of unnecessary dependencies are injected into the application making it bulky.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Considering the ease of use and developer friendly nature of the product, I would highly recommend all the developers to start adopting it in building large scale applications.
