What differentiates Sophos SG UTM from other similar products?

You can see the difference in the quality of the details that other firewall and anti-virus providers overlook. Sophos SG UTM provides us with superior protection that has not allowed a breach for our clients in years.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The protection features of Sophos SG are the best aspects of it. The ability to quickly create rules and policies makes our engineers more efficient at supporting our clients. The level of protection it provides is one of the best in the industry and has proven to be affective against cyber attacks. When we have had to work with support they are very informative and able to find paths to resolutions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The ability to access the partner portal from the main website, opens a security risk for others to be able to gain quick access to your account if they get your credentials. The Sophos SG updates have broken other applications after we apply them and have to generally roll them back and wait for the next one.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Look into the other providers producing similar products and have your decision makers test and get demos from each. See which ones your techs prefer to use and get feedback from the clients after deploying. Take the time to learn all the options and configuration settings before going live.
