What differentiates SolarWinds Service Desk from other similar products?

While there are many applications for technologies like this, SWSD stands out for its ability to deliver real-time insights on how your team is performing. It lets you keep things under control by giving you insights into the workload.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Everything I need to reassign requests or review past events is right at my fingertips. I am also relieved of responsibility for the underlying infrastructure. We don't have to worry about keeping all of our systems up to date, which frees us up to concentrate on our business and our customers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

You are limited to the pre-built reports if you do not have the resources to generate personalized reports to manipulate the data. I thought there should be a system like Web Help Desk's for lending out tools that was more efficient.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a manager, it was impossible to keep track of your incredibly busy employees. I can now speak knowledgeably about my team's progress thanks to my newfound access to this information.

Lots of addons to the standard package so can be expensive.
