I like how it minimise downtime with early warning notification and help recover quickly if system fails.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What differentiates SolarWinds AppOptics from other similar products?

AppOptics stands out with its combined infrastructure and application monitoring approach at a reasonable price point. Unlike some competitors that charge separately for different monitoring types, AppOptics includes both in one package. Their integration with other SolarWinds products is seamless, which is great if you're already in their ecosystem.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best thing about AppOptics is its straightforward pricing model and ease of getting started. The out-of-the-box monitoring templates are really useful, and the ability to quickly set up monitoring for cloud services like AWS is a time-saver. The alerting system is also quite flexible and reliable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The user interface feels less polished compared to newer monitoring solutions. Sometimes navigating between different features can be unintuitive, and the dashboard creation process could be more flexible.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'd recommend starting with their free trial to test the integration with your stack. Take time to plan your tagging strategy early on - it'll make everything easier later. It's particularly good for teams already using other SolarWinds products or those looking for a cost-effective solution.

What differentiates SolarWinds AppOptics from other similar products?

When I use this program, I like that I don’t have to install anything. As a non-technically aware person, I get really scared when I need to download new software to my computer that I haven’t heard of, so not having to download anything to utilize it makes me feel less frightened. It can perform the same functions as its competitors but at a far lower cost. The user interface is likewise fantastic.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The nicest thing about this software is that it offers a complete solution for data monitoring and analysis. It provides a variety of services that aid in data comprehension and provide stunning visualizations. Furthermore, it offers services that can provide notifications of activity alerts on various metrics when the processing is complete.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Even if the models are simple, the various pricing alternatives can be tough to pick from. It’s just a matter of deciding which one will work best for me. The online interface is also efficient, which is positive, but it might use some enhancement in terms of customization.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend just giving it a shot; it has a lot of potential for me at a pricing point that is significantly lower than competitors. I like that it has default dashboards for all of my services and that I can also construct custom dashboards. I can set up alerts for API response times and numerous notification channels. Everything is tracked, including infrastructure, database response, and communication between multiple micro-services.
