Industry standard for a reason
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
I'm honestly not very sure, Slack being so big has kinda distorted the entire market, making everything be "slack but with..."
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I can absolutely say that slack is an industry standard for a reason, it's stable, robust and intuitive, and the choice to pick this product was basically automatic. I also like the feature where slack tells you about channels you're in and not use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I believe that adding so many features is distracting from the main thing the product is supposed to do. Additionally, the search is really bad, it never understands what you're searching for, even on a basic level.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would shop around. Landing on slack at the end of this comparison run will not be a bad choice, as slack is at the end of the day a great product, but at least you'll know you've made an educated purchase. Additionally, while slack has a "do you still need to be here?" feature, which I like, it doesn't promote channels, which you should consider doing manually.

- Reliable
