What differentiates Selenium from other similar products?

It is a great open source tool, which can match itself with the market leaders for functionality. The entrance threshold is quite low. If you are a novice, you can understand and start using Selenium on the first day. Furthermore, it can be easily integrated with most application programs such as Java, Mendix and Bettyblocks.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The easy integration aspect of the product. For almost any application, the implementation of Selenium can be seen as an asset which will help the development and improvement of the application as well as the performance and reliability.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most is that there are some features which could be further expanded. Most notably, this is the reporting capabilities and the API testing area. Communication with other applications is most critical in most of the times. Therefore, this is the area that you want tested the most intense. The API testing capabilities are still a bit limited, but will do for most applications.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would suggest that you try it out. It is fairly easy to get the basic understanding of Selenium which means that the first basic testing can be done quite quickly. In most scenarios, I believe that some test automatization will benefit the further development of your application.

Nothing dislike, it should also support windows based application

I strongly recommend who wants to automate their Web and Service application, it is the best tool It has huge work support team
