What is Segura?

Segura® PAM (formerly senhasegura) is a privileged access management software solution that stores, manages and monitors all credentials, such as passwords, SSH keys and digital certificates, in a secure digital vault. Using encryption mechanisms, the password vault offers users the ability to use only one password to access a series of credentials registered in the solution. Additionally, senhasegura can be used to access all network resources through SSH and RDP protocols, storing all records of their use for audit and compliance analysis purposes.

Segura's design is easy to use. We can change it to fit our needs, and their support team is always there to help

What do you dislike most about this product?

I understand this is part of improving security, but the vendor could add the possibility to extend the duration of the logged user session

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We needed a solution that would align us with data protection legislation and enhance our management of passwords and credentials

For those initiating contact with the tool, it can take a while to understand and get used to the different features.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The solution is user-friendly and offers an intuitive graphical interface. Along its outstanding support, Segura became our best PAM choice

What do you dislike most about this product?

Even though it meets our requirements, the vendor should add the capability to configure access on databases to be done in bulk.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I understand this is part of improving security, but the vendor could add the possibility to extend the duration of the logged user session

Segura offers great audit trails and real-time monitoring. The set of capabilities offered by the tool along with its easy to use interface are also great differentiators.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The automated password rotation and session recording capabilities help us maintain a high level of security.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is no specific point

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Consider a phased rollout and invest time in training to ease the transition and ensure all team members have the understanding with the new PAM processes.
