What differentiates SAS Business Intelligence & Analytics from other similar products?
SAS could be an all right tho’ out peace of software system and with a fantastic sort of tools for Analytic, it is undeniably one of the most effective tools on the market. If you’re a mathematician or statistician, learning SAS programming is a must to create you marketable within the information Science realm. One of the foremost powerful tools I have utilized by far.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We primarily use SAS Base as our analytical tool and I found with some basic SQL information that the tool was simple to learn. The documentation online is very useful. The tool is extremely powerful and you’re often able to execute advanced business questions. With simply a few lines of code. The flexibility to make out macros is great.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The training curve is incredibly very steep, in school a complete category was just about SAS programming. Tho’ the syntax is close to most programming languages it’s not super intuitive, the sheer range of macros and functions is incredibly overwhelming. The opposite factor is that the price, extremely over-priced, creating almost inaccessible to sure businesses or very hard to justify the price when statistical software like R is fully free.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I favor the information visualization options in SAS Business Intelligence. It is useful to possess a visible representation of data, particularly when making reports or presentations. It’s conjointly easier to learn and use than the normal SAS software. Its recommended.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Trustworthy
- Effective Service

What differentiates SAS Business Intelligence & Analytics from other similar products?
Easy to use and intuitive software system for analytics and data mining. Nice for large data and business intelligence within the workplace. Given the evolving need for data mining, this product let’ us analyze data in terribly intelligent ways. The interface is sort of impressive. The data visualization along with larger flexibility are distinctive factors. There are varied modules below this software and are all connected. SAS provides restful statistical examples and simply IT support through the IT support service. SAS is straightforward doing business with but ought to master sas program language and model building progress.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
SAS has increased our metrics coverage by streamlining repeating processes. We’ve saved plenty of time and increased accuracy by making reports that run themselves. SAS includes a wide range of products, creating it quite complex, but at a similar time powerful and adaptive. Currently they’re moving to the cloud, which it’ going to build things faster, and lighter. I‘ve worked with them for several years, and that I wouldn’t change.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Like any SAP product, it’s solely as helpful as the cash you put into it. Sadly our company doesn’t have the monetary resources to repeatedly update and improve SAP so we want the price to be decreased.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Spend some time and you’ll be used to the UI and it’ll appear a lot easier and user-friendly than an initial impression.
