Needs a deep learning curve

The user interface is straight forward and allowing user to identify duplicate records easily

I don't find anything negative since it has reduced tremendous time in completing my tasks

What differentiates SAP Master Data Governance from other similar products?

It is our ultimate solution for managing and analyzing most master data; visualization and customizable reports assist our data governance team in their daily operations; and it adds a lot of value to our SAP environment. Furthermore, SAP MDG provides computing across multiple platforms and applications, the collection and export of all data requests across the company, a web version that is extremely easy to read and comprehend, and an outstanding degree of accuracy.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is one of the greatest data management solutions on the market; it lets us improve master data and display it through customizable reports while providing acceptable data protection. The user interface is also pretty straightforward, and there is decent customer service; all in all, this is an excellent tool for the data governance team. We combined SAP MDG with one of the software applications required to complete the project requirements, and everything worked flawlessly, the project was also launched.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The solution lacks performance and the process takes longer to finish; also, the freedom of usage must be improved; the filter for looking for situations cannot be altered manually and must be adjusted. Furthermore, its features are extremely difficult for those who are just beginning out. The program is valuable, but its sophisticated interface makes it tough to use smoothly; nevertheless, if you grasp all of its functions, it is simple, enjoyable, and far more useful.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It enables the design of workflows for data maintenance and approval, which aids the organization in improving the quality and consistency of its data, reducing mistakes and redundancy, and optimizing its business operations, SAP Master Data Governance is meant to handle the challenge of managing and controlling master data across a company's many systems and departments. SAP MDG offers a single source of truth for master data, allowing the business to make more informed choices.
