What differentiates Salesforce Chatter from other similar products?

Salesforce chatter stands the test of time as it has a tight integration with salesforce CRM. This makes it easy for us to go anywhere else to access chatter as it is already a part of their salesforce footprint. Inaddition , chatter support a variety of fucntionalities such as groups, profiles mentions and files , which expand its usability as a interface for interactions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The most appealing with salesforce chatter is the sense of community and collaboration it builds within the boundaries of our team. With the help of chatter which provides an easy way to share updates , post questions and talk about projects getting upper management to team members for that matter has been so easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The first is the inability to fully customize and tailor the platform for our specific team's use cases, for instances chatter has decent search fatures , although I would prefer more sophisticated ones to help me find certain topics or discussions more easily.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

First assess the requirement around the need for team to communicate and collaborate .Chatter is seamless and an add on that can benefit team dynamics when combines with salesforce CRM where productivity tends to be enhanced.

What differentiates Salesforce Chatter from other similar products?

the fact that conversations take place in the salesforce environment eliminates any confusion that may occur. For example, using an external tool to communicate on certain accounts can lead to confusion especially for companies with high volumes of accounts. It's hard to remember so many things. Chatter ensures everyone is on the same page. Love that about it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Largely used for service tickets and potential churn accounts, it helps put great minds together to resolve the issue at hand. It's helped retain businesses that were at high risk.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not a fan of its user design, may be some work to be done there. Also, lack of awareness amongst teams. I have noticed most folks do not know what the chatter can do which means the tool is not used to its full potential.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have a CRM, having chatter is recommended to retain existing business and create newer opportunities. Just get it if you are in the biz where people are involved.
