What differentiates Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate from other similar products?
The degree of complicity with which it is used is defined by the set of individuals. So, this product is optimal for companies that are in the early stage of development to those that are older and require more specific data and analysis of their systems. The finance suite uses the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger components to manage customer and vendor accounts, in addition to maintaining finance matches and reconciliations. This is likely to create discomfort at the time of examination of difficulties.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The vast majority of stories are feasible to reproduce in a workable Excel format, using the Excel file model: data only or in csv form. Minimal training is required to use the system correctly and effectively. It seems to me that Sage 300 is suitable for a variety of companies that require a program to preserve information with clarity.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are several ways to establish the customer cost, however, I would like to be able to display a price per list, a shrink and a price per invoice with net on the customer account and also reflect this in the historical O/E purchase record. In reference to this, within the general ledger, I would like to report gross purchases by a L/M company, and abatement by a different L/M account. Currently, only the net purchase value is documented in the general ledger and shown in the O/E sales history narrative. Several of the supply control reports take a long time to run.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The vast majority of the institution's departments use the Sage ERP system. The inventory suite uses the purchasing component of the program to maintain purchase requisitions, in addition to the inventory control component to manage and update stock. The marketing and customer service groups use the order entry program to manage user requests and generate information about sales.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Sage 300 CRE is its job costing precision—it doesn’t just track expenses, but ties every dollar to specific phases, trades, and even subcontractors, giving me surgical control over project profitability.
