What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

Its powerful yet simple to use, the UI is clear and intuaitive

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease of use of configuring and maintenance. Easy to start and maintain compared to other products we have used in the past. Fast backups, restores and mounts with excellent reporting make our life a lot easier.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only thing that I could possibly say that I dislike is we cannot set a monthly backup on the first of the month. This is already a suggestion to them and they are investigating it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take a POC from them and throw what you can at it. We moved over a 100 VMs, including some SQL during the POC. Avamar would have issues with stuns and Rubrik would just move right along with no issues. Don't overthink how can this product be doing so well and be so easy - it really just is.

What differentiates Rubrik Cloud Data Management from other similar products?

Our cyber security experts claim that unchangeable backups offer reliable and secure backup data. We can swiftly restore data since file, disc, or computer restoration is quick and straightforward. Even if we have never backed up SharePoint or our one-drive environment, Rubrik makes it easier to recover our transfer system.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The GUI and workflow are easy to learn. Most IT professionals have minimal trouble navigating. Because to quick live mount choices and software updates, Rubrik can grow its offering in a dynamic environment more quickly than fixing an issue. Using the global search function, you can browse the image history for the object. Data can be transmitted to an archive vault utilizing the NAS Direct Archival without using up local storage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

With RAC instances and standby instances, Oracle Database backup has long-standing problems. The time it takes to log in using the integrated method can vary depending on where your users and groups are positioned in the AD hierarchy. I made a more significant effort to focus, but I could have done better. Even if logging in takes about 20 seconds, it still functions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My respect for the vendor improved due to my encounters with them because they started by providing top-notch customer service. They found the answer to an issue immediately, then a few weeks later, they made it better. Because we have access to many of technology's resources, we place much faith in it.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Replication for High Availability Beyond secondary copy backup, the solution also manages replication of primary data host-to-host and site-to-site for live failover and high availability.

Analytics Built-in real-time and historical reporting and analytics on SLAs, performance, and resource consumption, as well as predictive capabilities to plan & optimize.
