What differentiates Rockwell Automation MES from other similar products?
Those features embedded for getting traceability data across thousands of different product and process characteristics where the variability is reaching an inifinite borders. Main reason for implementing FactoryTalk in our assembly line is to run the helium leak test for our brand-new batteries and it worked quite well in terms of reaching full traceability and guaranteed control in order not to let any defective products escape to the end user.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The software itself easily connected to the leak tester machine in which the operator remotely control all the settled characteristics as well as allowing engineers to monitor the performance metrics (OEE) in breakdown details. Thanks to the machine learning features integrated into the software, we are enabled to reduce the errors experienced in daily/weekly timeframes by way of setting correct leak parameters initially.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing at all.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Those companies who have no chance but imperatively control and monitor some safety and regulation related characteristics on their products with utmost certainty and precision - then I definitely recommend them to get Factory Talk involve into their operations for close and dedicated monitoring the quality and production related activities all the time. Do not expect any downtime or maintenance which I believe would be a rare occurrence.
