What differentiates Rocket.Chat from other similar products?

Rocket chat is a very professional tool as compared to other rivals. it consist of only chat related functionalities which makes it suitable for only communication and not create any mismanagement . Also I have seen that Its customer base is very huge including companies and businesses from all over the cities. So wide spread software makes it easier to implement and train new employees over it

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the concept of channels in Rocket chat. it helps abstract other users from communicating with other non relevant people in inbox. also groups can be made in it which have locking concept so only admin can add them according to project they are working on. If someone tags you then it will give you a red dot, so you will see that someone has tagged you in any message

What do you dislike most about this product?

Everything is good but management of editing a sent message is very bad experience. I must get desktop keyboard shortcuts to select, deselect , edit and delete multiple messages with keyboard. And replying in thread is also very annoying, It also need to have a forward and reply option as it is now available in every social media so users are fond of it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are looking for a Team collaboration tool with both desktop and mobile application support then rocket chat is most reliable, used and trustworthy project that you can implement at your own domain. but it is very old fashioned too so if you are looking for fancy solution then look something else
