What differentiates Rally Software from other similar products?

Rally provides direct features for tracking defects logged and features created. Also very useful for tracking team iteration status.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Defect tracking with assigned under respective user story.

What do you dislike most about this product?

UI is not responsive for small screens properly

I really appreciate this product. Looking forward to get more user friendly features.

What differentiates Rally Software from other similar products?

Rally Software is an Application Lifecycle Management tool designed to support agile methodologies across software development projects. It offers a wide range of features, such as backlog management, sprint planning, release tracking, and reporting to enhance collaboration and transparency. It is often praised for its clear user interface and intuitive navigation compared to its competitors.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Rally is one of the few tools built specifically for large-scale agile adoption. It provides clear visibility across multiple teams and projects, making it ideal for enterprises. It is real time dashboards and progress tracking features are really amazing. Unlike others, which require plugins, Rally has native dependency tracking that helps teams manage cross-team dependencies. This feature is very helpful for complex agile projects involving multiple teams.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since I have been using it, I have faced a decline in customer support. It shows slower response times and fewer direct support options. I have concerns regarding Rally’s future development under Broadcom as it affects our smooth working.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Highly recommended tool, it is the best suited for those using SAFe, LeSS, or Disciplined Agile. If you want highly customizable workflows then must give it a try.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Rally Software is its strong focus on scaling Agile across large enterprises, particularly its robust support for SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and hierarchical work management. Rally makes it easy to align high-level strategic goals with team-level execution through its multi-level structure (e.g., initiatives, epics, user stories, tasks) and advanced reporting tools. This ability to connect day-to-day work with broader business objectives is invaluable for organizations managing multiple Agile teams and complex projects.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The main drawback of Rally Software is its complexity and steep learning curve, especially for teams that are new to Agile or for those without prior experience using enterprise-level project management tools. Some of the key challenges include:
