Qualys has cool features for Vulnerability Management and VMDR that would assist customers in managing their environments
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Vulnerability Management is a key feature that helps customers discover new vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Lack of knowledge from the support team, when required it takes a long time to reply to simple questions asking over and over for the same evidence to be provided wasting the customer's time and patient
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are looking for a tool that will assist you in managing the Vulnerability Practice in your environment this can be considered a good choice. Now if you need assistance from the support team you are in trouble, depending on the scenario you will end up without the proper support.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like this this tool due to its options where we are able to notice the vulnerabilities and missing patches from the network infrastructure additionally the reports are generated automatically. The protection of this application is straightforward to execute in any environment, protective networks and all forms of virtual connections, the installation and configuration of Qualys, is sort of simple, being a system that runs on the web, or within the cloud, everything is previously activated, from the primary use, solely you want to modify with a handful of clicks, the IP addresses, that you just want to monitor, the networks, the equipment.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I didn’t just like the style solution downloading information from Qualys into a single table into CMDB. This design solution needs a complex workflow design within the CMDB side, for that reason, this solution doesn’t match our business case.

Qualys - Vulnerability Scanning with ease.

What differentiates Qualys VMDR from other similar products?
Ease of implementation. Mainly since it's a cloud product, and we only need one component on premise - The scanner. Added advantage is that the scanner can be onboarded to a Virtual Machine with almost straight forward installation experience.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's cloud nature and the software agents (They call it Cloud Agent) available for multiple platforms are light weight, efficient and easy to deploy through SCCM.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Report generation may not be that fast as compared to an offline tool. Also it has kept a cap of 5 MB to qualify the report to be sent out to designated email automatically, which I feel is very less. They should have provided compressing options or increase the size to at least 15 MB.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If the costing matches your budget, Qualys would the best fit for your needs. It's highly reliable and the support is responsive too
