Qlik Sense is a business intelligence (BI) and visual analytics platform that supports a range of analytic use cases. Built on Qlik’s unique Associative Engine, it supports a full range of users and use-cases across the life-cycle from data to insight – with self-service analytics, interactive dashboards, conversational analytics, custom and embedded analytics, mobile analytics, and reporting. The solution comes in three different editions - Qlik Sense Enterprise, Business, and Team. Qlik Sense can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises.

What differentiates Qlik Sense from other similar products?

Constant improvement and fast addition of functionality, either developed by Qlik or via acquisitions. On-premise product is rich in function; does not try to lock customers on the cloud. Desktop version available but not necessary, even for developers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Fast innovation and ease of use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Certification exams available in English only.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Evaluate using your most difficult, complete and largest data use case. Combine multiple data sources necessary for your business problem and see what happens. Ask for a proof of concept, which should take no more than 2-3 weeks.

Can not rely completely on this platform for dashboard requirements and has to use it in conjunction with other platforms
