What is Progress MOVEit?

MOVEit is an automated file transfer system that lets you manage, view, secure, and control all file transfer activity through a single system. You will always know where your files are with predictable, secure delivery and extensive reporting. MOVEit reduces the need for IT hands-on involvement and allows for user self-service as needed. You can choose to implement MOVEit as an On Premise or Cloud solution – or hybrid.

What differentiates Progress MOVEit from other similar products?

While I don't have a lot of experience with other products of a similar nature, I'd think that the SLA and quick support are key features for us as we are providing healthcare to the public and need a solid support response and system uptime.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Needs little to no daily hands on intervention once setup. It just keeps doing what it has been designed to do day in and day out!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Missing some key management tools/features to make global updates a breeze along with minimal admin reporting due to the needed information being kept in an a proprietary configuration file that can only be exported as XML.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Fast and knowledgeable support staff combined with a rock-solid stable system makes this a top choice!
