What differentiates Productboard from other similar products?

It has many benefits unlike others, it is a product management platform that helps teams organize, prioritize, and plan their work around product creation. It is mostly used for collecting and managing customer feedback, conducting market and competitor analysis, setting priorities, and coordinating work between different departments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

what I like is that it offers a complete view of the product creation process, from information gathering to planning and launch. It also enables collaboration with teams, making sure everyone is working in the same direction and with a shared vision.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the potential downsides is that its learning curve can be steep for some users, especially if they are new to product management.

What differentiates Productboard from other similar products?

Did not do a comparison or use other products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Pretty quick creation of product roadmaps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the features are not very intuitive. Examples: relationships between features and roadmaps with releases, release groups, teams, etc. Some of the PMs starting to use it are also not clear how to properly use it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely do a trial and make sure it's meeting the needs and is easy enough to use.

What differentiates Productboard from other similar products?

There are a lot of visualization tools for roadmaps so there are many ways that you can tailor the views to fit your needs. They also have lots of integrations, however you usually have to pay extra for those.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We almost exclusively us it just for tagging and managing feature requests. We get a lot of feature requests on a daily basis and this tool helps us tag and sort that feedback so that it is easy to find when we need it. It also auto-suggests feature tags (using ML Im guessing) which makes tagging super fast and easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is heavily focused on roadmapping which we don't extensively do at our company so there are a lot of features that go unused for us.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It would be a great tool if your company does a lot of roadmapping visualizations. You can easily customize the roadmaps to build automatically off of timelines, objective, releases and more. Make sure that the way your teams visualize your future plans aligns with the roadmapping tools available, otherwise you could end up using it as a glorified inbox like we are (but even then, the tagging tools work really well and that's enough for us).
