What differentiates Planview Portfolios from other similar products?
This is perhaps one of the ways that really sets Planview Portfolios apart from other solutions available on the market; it has an all-encompassing portfolio management solution. It is not just confined to controlling project by project but gives a measure of overall performance of the portfolio as a whole. This is important today’s business world as it enables them to make relevant decisions based on current information.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
This is in fact one of the key things that I like most with Planview Portfolios, namely its reporting and analytical features. The reports are gender and visually appealing and allow easy and quick explanations of results to any stakeholder. I also admire the integrated collaborative working setting that gives a team chance to be more effective if the team members work from different locations.
What do you dislike most about this product?
That said, it has not been a perfect run all along; Sometimes finding oneself within a project management tool setup can be overwhelming particularly to those who have not encountered such a tool before. However cost can always be an influencing factor for instance to the smaller business.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
All things considered, I would not hesitate to encourage any organisation to take up Planview Portfolios as their project and portfolio management system. It seems to be especially beneficial when being used by organized teams that are able to set up the software to their advantage as well as being able to better analyze their data. In other words, Planview Portfolios is tool that would make a big difference in how you handle your project and I have no doubt that it would prove useful for you.
