How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.

A 360 degree view into product usage and patterns

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
The historical data, unlike most systems with Pendo if you forget to track a feature click, 6 months from now you can setup the feature click without losing any usage data. Also the power of the metadata and being able to pull and push data in and out to get as granular as we need in regards to segmenting our accounts and users.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Truly understanding user behavior and how it correlates to the success of our customers and our product.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Just some knit picky UI/UX complaints
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A robust tool that helps product, customer success, and marketing make data informed decisions!

Great Tool For Analytics + Gathering User Feedback

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
Our organization uses Pendo for a variety of purposes. We use the powerful analytic tools to understand how our users are using our product. This helps our Product Managers make important roadmapping decisions, track feature adoption, and monitor user behavior. The design team gets a lot of benefit from the Funnel and Pathing features, it helps them to study user flows and make design adjustments on the fly. We use guides frequently to announce new features, market events and webinars, collect user feedback, and educate users on how to use our features. I really like the NPS functionality, this allows use to be constantly collecting user feed
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The powerful analytic tools to understand how our users are using our product. This helps our Product Managers make important roadmapping decisions, track feature adoption, and monitor user behavior. We use guides frequently to announce new features, market events and webinars, collect user feedback, and educate users on how to use our features. I also really like the NPS functionality, this allows use to be constantly collecting user feedback that is sampled on a random basis.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is a huge learning curve with Pendo. It can take months to learn all the ins and outs, and it needs to be set up correctly or you will lose all the benefits of the tool. The hardest steps are injecting the Pendo snippet into your codebase, setting up data attributes correctly, tagging the pages/features, creating segments, and excluding testing environments and test orgs. In the past we ran into some troubles with Pendo when we had several people using the tool at once who were not properly trained, this lead to a messy disorganized Pendo instance and incorrect/unreliable data. It's best to have one Pendo owner in your organization.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Have one Pendo owner / expert within your organization. As I stated above if you have too many people managing the same Pendo instance it can get very messy very quickly and you will lose all benefit the product brings. Also make sure to tag pages and features correctly or else the data will be incorrect and basically useless.

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
Pendo offered an intuitive and easy integration which was extremely important to our Product team. We needed for users to be able to implement the product quickly and Pendo did not disappoint.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the analytics and the ease of guide creation. If we find that users are struggling in an area, we can quickly create a guide to assist and help them through until our Development team can update it within the application.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The thing I like least about the product is the editing of the guides. Whenever I click on the text, I have to click the edit button in order to make updates.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend trying it out within your application and asking questions about how it would work for you. The neighborhood and Sales Team are great and will help in any way possible.
