What differentiates Paypal Braintree from other similar products?

Open APIs and no-nonsense integration. Vendor support is timely and attentive. Makes payments quick and convenient for repeat customers, so sales people don't have to take credit card information over the phone.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Good documentation and high level of customer support. Plus the open api.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Long setup time on our side that included multiple sessions of scheduled and ad-hoc support. Now that we are set up, it's smooth sailing - but we had expected a quicker time to launch.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Read all the documentation and materials during setup. It's easy to miss a small thing and then backtracking to find what you did wrong can waste your time (best case) or waste your revenues with refunds (worst case).
