What differentiates OroCommerce from other similar products?

The modern Symfony-based platform is the most compelling reason to use Oro.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The well-designed ability to customize at multiple levels, from simple configuration in the admin UI, to overriding or swapping out base functionality in the code.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's difficult to learn the layers of customization in order to find the simplest method of implementing a business requirement.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be sure to have someone very experienced with the platform providing consulting. Putting all of your eggs into the the systems integrator basket would be unwise unless they have a clear and excellent track record with Oro.

What differentiates OroCommerce from other similar products?

OROCommerce has friendly plugins which proved to be useful to the business. Plugins such as QUANTA for RFQ process were quite useful. The payment options flexibility that OROCommerce provided was also quite good.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The payment options flexibility enabled us to use OROCommerce to create B2B e-commerce website. Additionally, the wide range of plugins available were quite handy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The ease of customisation wasn't high enough

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The pricing is reasonable, and the Community edition is quite good too. For someone wanting to create a simple E-commerce platform, the multiple plugins will sure be handy.
