Great free tier for testing, start small and scale gradually. Better if you have oracle enterprise applications

What differentiates Oracle Cloud Infrastructure from other similar products?

It provides more enterprise focused solutions whether you are looking for databases or mission critical workloads. Its tightly integrated oracle's database technology offers seamless migration and management of large scale database systems with utmost ease. Its autonomous database service completely unique that provides automating key tasks like patching, scaling and tuning which greatly reduces management overhead. The cost transparency and predictable pricing are also big advantages that makes it very easy for any enterprise that is looking for cloud adoption.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect for oracle cloud is autonomous database. It takes the heavy lifting managing and optimizing database with the of AI like scaling, patching and tuning. This essentially made managing complex data workloads more easily and efficiently.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its user interface is needed to be improved. It still feels bit less intuitive to other cloud platforms. They had significantly made changes over time but requires more for new users. In an oracles ecosystem the steep learning curve can be a challenge for those are new to it and to find right settings would be tricky for them.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

One must evaluate how deeply they want to integrate there business with oracles databases and applications. If you are already using oracle products then it is very easy integrate with oracle cloud. New users can take advantage of oracles free tier to explore platform after that they can commit for paid subscription services. You can also take leverage of oracles support and training services to get most out of the platform. Oracle cloud comes with unique set abilities that you can't find on other cloud platforms.
