What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I really appreciate how easy it is to customize GroupWise. Everyone can customize their use to fit what they need, leading to happier and faster work. Also, customer support is exceptional. Whenever I've had a question or needed help, the support team has always been ready and willing to help.
What do you dislike most about this product?
However, not everything is perfect. Updates can take a while, and new features can take a while to appear. This can be annoying for people who are always waiting for better things and new devices. Sometimes the wait can be an inconvenience, although it is usually helpful.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Although there is one small issue, I definitely recommend OpenText GroupWise This tool is perfect for any business because it works well with other systems, keeps things secure, and can be configured to suit your needs GroupWise helps people talk to each other easily and keeps their conversations secure and fast

It is known for its scalability, high-level security and robust email and messaging. It unified all functions at one platform such as messaging, calendaring, management of tasks and sharing of one Platform. Unlike other similar products, it is more focused on security and compliance by covering a wide suite. All these features stand it out in the market and make it a top priority among businesses.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Designed to cater to the business environment, it provides a safe, trustworthy, and feature-rich collaboration platform for my organization. Its strong security features are one of my favorite aspects about it as it provides end-to-end encryption to ensure the security of all messages. Also, I like its way of integration to achieve compliance works as an extra layer of protection making it ideal for my organization as we were seeking data security and regulation solutions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have noticed one thing which needs to be updated since I am using it in its user interface. Its interface is outdated and lacks some important advanced features as compared to other similar devices. Its user interface should be more intuitive and to improve our working quality. OpenText GroupWise should be updated to meet the demands.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is suitable for all those people who are looking for a secure and integrated messaging system.

GroupWise is an enterprise-class solution that helps IT service desks manage requests with advanced tools not typically found in basic ticketing systems. Its key differentiators include: These features allow requests to be uniformly logged with critical data attached, enable stage-gated assignment, review and resolution, provide insight into technician workloads, common issues, SLA performance and trend analysis, and ensure technicians only see appropriate requests.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
GroupWise has transformed request management for our IT support teams with features such as Custom Ticket Templates, Automated Workflow, Robust Reporting, and Granular Access Controls. The workflow engine provides a structured process for handling tickets that was not possible with spreadsheet trackers. We now have visibility and control over request resolution, thanks to automated notifications and escalation rules. Reporting provides the metrics needed to accurately balance workloads, identify recurring issues, and demonstrate the value IT provides to the business.
What do you dislike most about this product?
However, GroupWise can feel overly complex for some use cases. The administrative settings allow for extensive customization, but this generally requires specialist resources. Additionally, the tool lacks native mobile functionality, which can limit technicians from managing tickets on-the-go. However, these limitations stem from the platform's enterprise-grade capabilities that enable it to handle large, complex support organizations.
