ALM Octane stands out from competitors because of its overall play, reliability, and configurability. To optimize the entire workflow and design process throughout the software delivery value stream, ALM Octane has assisted me in implementing a "quality everywhere" strategy and improving agility and DevOps testing and development procedures. There are many possibilities for modification, which I can use to modify the flow and testing stages to suit my needs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

To ensure that quality is transparent, controllable, and continually improved, ALM Octane promotes an open mindset. Comfort is the defining characteristic. It is simple to use and easy to master. Risks are reduced early in the software delivery value stream by aligning quality and testing with DevOps and Agile procedures, paving the path for quicker delivery and more service quality.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Compared to competitors, although its price appears to be on the upper side, in reality, it is not that exorbitant. If we take into account the plug-ins that other competitors demand us to have the same capabilities as Octane, we are even better. It has even cut our testing expenses. Although I lack the specific figures, we are moving quite quickly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I urge anyone considering purchasing a software testing tool to give ALM Octane some serious thought because it is not only more cost-effective than competing products, but also will help you save money on your infrastructure. By choosing from a variety of implementation choices, including SaaS, on-premises, and public cloud, you may decrease your infrastructure requirements.

Integrates all the features from Test management, test design, execution to test automation. Can be used across Agile and Waterfall projects

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

TestCase execution is simple. Report generation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Bulk upload requires a specific format. If your testcases are already in MS excel, uploading requires lot of efforts to change the template to Octane compatible.

It is most beneficial if product is implemented from starting of the testing cycles and designing stages

I was astounded by the features of ALM Octane, including its user interface, dashboard, API testing, and search engine. Everything has been simpler for my company as a result. Its cost is also less expensive than that of other tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Following are some features that I adore about ALM Octane, a unified approach to test management e.g. test planning, execution, and defect management. Secondly, Quick, dependable backup and end-to-end tracking moreover I like integration with the tool for UFT automation. I also like their access management for different user types. Last but not least there is automation which is possible with API.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I frequently experienced outages, and the application occasionally ran slowly when there was a lot of traffic. Moreover, when dealing with technological problems, customer assistance takes a while to respond and a while to resolve problems they must improve.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The user interface of ALM Octane is incredibly responsive and functions effectively on practically any device. ALM Octane has all features needed for the product development lifecycle. To give our clients the best value and service possible, we can integrate with all sector leaders.
