What differentiates OpenText ALM Octane from other similar products?
Used to track all development activities related to application development. Creation of requirements, test cases, test suites, and associated bugs are reported and tracked by business units. The 2-in-1 tool feature can help you save a lot of time and money, log errors, and create stories.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Best UI. Easy access to errors and requirements. Elastic search option to easily find data. The Agile methodologies added there solve the purpose of JIRA and HL APM. I think it's a 2-in-1 tool that can save you a lot of money.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are quite a few tutorials for new installations and configurations. Improve reporting and test execution history.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A REST API is provided by ALM Octane that you can use to integrate automation tools and upload test results. Its ease of use is the main reason we love this tool, and everything is well organized, making it easy to collaborate with your team and helping you achieve on-time product delivery. Others are the most popular test management tools. Always on the market.

What differentiates OpenText ALM Octane from other similar products?
By allowing us to reduce design process errors, ALM Octane allows us to save a significant amount of time and money. However, I am aware that this can be accomplished using any application testing software, so what makes this great is that we can apply a wide range of tests supported by automation, closely coordinate quality activities from design to delivery, and constantly monitor and enhance for higher throughput.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Although we looked into a number of solutions, only ALM Octane was able to satisfy all of our needs due to our huge business's more stringent criteria. Because it enables a tailored and expandable plan for our diverse demands, I really like and recommend it. ALM Octane is so stunning and appropriate, straight out of the box that we may use it right away without having to adjust or modify the tool.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Although it's pretty simple to use, it rarely stops and starts running too poorly because of its extensive functionality. When compared to other tools, the bulk of the critical features can be accessed with just a few keystrokes, but it still needs to be faster so that working time and performance are never compromised.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
When you think ALM Octane is too expensive, you might also switch to another product, but that is not the case because it is more efficacious and costs what it does. Similar to this, there are diverse subscription alternatives open, and we can tailor the features to fulfill the necessities while supporting thousands of concurrent users all over various locations.
