Lots of features not always that easy to use

What differentiates Nintex from other similar products?

We use nintex document generation which seems very similar to conga it seems to have very similar features so not much differentiates them. I suppose their support experience is great but there upgrade roadmap for the product needs improvement. They do offer a solution completely built on Salesforce which does differentiate them in a way.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Bulk letter generation from a list view so multiple records can receive the same package with different filters applied.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's complex setup requires an admin to make simple edits and things can easily go wrong with a letter package unless set up properly. There also seems to be niggles and differences in setup where for example a normal relationship in a letter will work on single send but SOQL query is required for a bulk send which is more complex. I've seen products that would write the query for you but not Nintex.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Test it properly and make sure it suits your needs and you have individuals who can administer and set it up

What differentiates Nintex from other similar products?

The application has good templates and covers wide varieties of output options for content generation. The administration of templates has been easier for handover to junior admins to manage updates. Setting up of new templates too is simpler and gives more options. I personally like to use the email output option helps save lot of time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Email Output templates and Propsal Generation

What do you dislike most about this product?

The app can have a better UI to setup the templates eliminating some of the custom tagging by easily tagging right in the output documents. There is a scope to provide CSAT templates to give us one stop shop.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Must be looking for a standard documentation pulling various field information from Salesforce records to generate a client proposal SOA / Deliverable. Also can be used to create email templates for the internal notifications.

What differentiates Nintex from other similar products?

There's really nothing it can't do and it does it relatively easy compared with other options. Nintex is constantly adding features and capabilities and making it easier to use with every new version they create.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Integrating it with Sharepoint was seamless and very reliable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the email options can be lacking and there is an option to vote on features.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be sure you can utilize the product to its full potential to maximize the value received for the process you are trying to automate.
