What differentiates NextCloud Files from other similar products?

What I value most about Nextcloud is its integration with other devices, such as mobile phones and other OS platforms. For administrators, Nextcloud provides a "one button" check on all server security features. Furthermore, Nextcloud offers fantastic advice on how to fortify your server. It was really easy to manage users, shared projects, and deadlines using Nextcloud's calendar.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's great that customers can utilize features that are similar to those of OneDrive. It's also a benefit since the fundamental elements, like the calendar and photo album, are available and used by everyone. Because the calendar corresponds with industry standards, smartphones can sync with it. It uses WebDAV and is free and open-source software. We can use our other ERP systems and website to supplement and expand the main software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the UI could be easier to use and necessitates more clicks than necessary. Furthermore, Nextcloud offers several improvements that may need clarification for the user if you are not an expert in PHP or web servers. That's a little disheartening because Nextcloud could have made the administrator's job easier if it had conducted a more thorough investigation of the environment surrounding its server and offered more detailed instructions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a solid cloud solution for files, calendars, and contacts. The free program can be modified by adding your features. Upgrades or modifications are not required. If Nextcloud is only used internally after installation, it can persist for decades. Comparing folder syncing to Nextcloud's adaptability takes a lot of work. The Hub's apps, on the other hand, focus on expanding its use into a wider spectrum than other services can.

What differentiates NextCloud Files from other similar products?

NextCloud has a sound file syncing feature and lets us sync data on laptops, desktops, and mobile phones. NextCloud supports over several file types, including PDFs, CAD files, images, videos, Photoshop, Autodesk, etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It includes end-to-end encryption for our data to ensure that only the administration team has control over the encryption keys to our files. It also has no file size limitations, meaning that we can back up any file that we have on our computer

What do you dislike most about this product?

Better search function to help employees find specific types of files in specific folders, the trash, or anywhere else, with a way we can also specify the modification date, the file’s owner, the file’s name, and any possible words in the file

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

NextCloud is a good choice if you want to sync files and folders between multiple devices faster. Create, organize, and seamlessly edit Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in NextCloud

What differentiates NextCloud Files from other similar products?

Gave security and control back in the hands of the company and employees by providing cloud storage that allows us to retain full control over the data and infrastructure. Dropbox Business is also used to transfer files between different devices, even when they are offline

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The service keeps a history of our files so that we can recover them in the event of malware, mistaken deletion, or ransomware catastrophe

What do you dislike most about this product?

Dropbox Business does not offer a built-in encryption feature to encrypt files before uploading them to the cloud or after we have already uploaded them

Dropbox Business is a file storage and synchronizing service that mainly allow users to store files on servers, synchronize files across devices, and share files with others
