What differentiates Netsurion from other similar products?

What I liked best about the managed SOC was how quickly they responded to a simulated hack we ran. When a firm attempted to hack us, EventTracker was able to identify a malicious script and the direction they were travelling in our network after they were inside. They swiftly contacted and emailed us to let us know that we needed to act right away. This wasn't merely a report the next day; it happened minutes after a problematic script was deployed on the network. If this had been a real network breach, we could have stopped it in a matter of minutes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Managed SEO was my favorite part.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There shouldn't be anything you can't rapidly search but if you master Lucene query or the older filter criteria search, that might be very powerful

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Making search more similar to google or bing

What differentiates Netsurion from other similar products?

They have been able to detect pen tests as well as real attack threats. We have a monthly review with them and the attention to detail is great. In addition, they have a great way of cutting through the noisy details and getting down to the real threats and actions we should be taking.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Hands down it is the SOC managed services. I would recommend using them if you do not have a dedicated person to manage the SIEM for your organization. We have been using them for 18 months and I see them as an extension of our IT department.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the integrations and graphing can be difficult. However, with saying that, they have been able to integrate and chart/graph everything that we have asked. The tool can be challenging for companies that do not have dedicated SIEM personnel. I do wish the elastic search was a bit quicker when querying data going back months, but I have yet to find a SIEM that can do this "quickly" when looking at millions or billions of log entries.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As stated in the previous two comments. I highly recommended getting the manage services and SOC. They have been able to detect many threats that were both false positives and real threats. Each time they were able to determine the validity and only alerts us immediately of the real threats.
