What differentiates N‑sight RMM from other similar products?

This RMM product provides a "one pane of glass" experience. Monitoring, remote access, threat protection, support tickets, and billing all inside the same console. RMM provides visibility into client networks, and is fully customizable to meet any monitoring and remote management needs. N-Able is a great company very focused on helping your company succeed and offers great training, live boot camps, and offers access to a wide range of resources and technical knowledge. Tech support is responsive and easy to work with. Product specialists and account managers are extremely helpful but not pushy.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

N-Able RMM is a very robust and full featured product. It is relatively easy to implement and setup internally, and onboarding new customers is a simple process. The ability to create monitoring templates and apply default settings across multiple organizations and devices makes changes and updates and easy task. RMM allows you to "automate" at your pace. Setup a few simple automated processes, or create multiple complex automation processes with triggers, notifications, and auto ticket creation. RMM is a powerful that allows for many 3rd party integrations, and a needed tool for any IT support technician.

What do you dislike most about this product?

RMM can be an overwhelming product at times. There are many layers to the product and it can take some time to get all settings and options configured fully. Threat protection does not have advanced or granular options and settings and exclusions can be complicated to configure.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Administration of the product can be tedious and will require dedicated time. Product training is really good, but a little time consuming, so I would recommend devising a training boot camp day or training schedule. Reporting is basic and could be better. Minimal functionality for MacOS. Dashboard views are nice but are slow to load and refresh at times.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Trustworthy
